Rick takes the dogs, Cate takes the cats
Rick Salk is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and retired postal worker, 38 years with the postal service, who understands the importance of discipline and showing up on time. He has volunteered at the Warwick Animal Shelter since the 1990s, and with the dogs he lets them set the pace and enjoy the outdoors.
Cate, a retired massage therapist, brings her background in cat rescue and fostering to the felines on the route. Together they look after dogs and cats, birds and reptiles, with patience and a deep respect for every animal they meet.
Whether you live near the waterfront or on a quiet residential street, your pets get the exercise and affection they need without leaving home. We are fully bonded, insured, and pet CPR-trained, offering a professional level of accountability you can trust. Meet them on the about page.

Walks, hikes, drop-ins and nights, sized to the pet
Every pet has a personality and a routine that makes them feel secure, so we customize each visit to match their energy and any medical needs.
- Dog Walking
We plan our walks around your dog's specific energy level and favorite pace: a fast run, or a sniff at every tree.
- In-Home Pet Sitting
Feedings, playtime and plenty of attention for dogs, cats and small animals, in their own home. Visits of 15, 30 or 45 minutes.
- Overnight Care
A 12-hour stay that covers evening and morning feedings, walks, and company through the night.
- Puppies and Seniors
Potty breaks and good habits for puppies; a slower pace and a bit more patience for older pets.
- Medication and Pet Taxi
Medications given to your vet's instructions, rides to vet appointments, and the litter box and yard kept clean.
- Trail Hikes and Swims
For dogs with energy to burn, trips to local trails and swimming spots, because a walk around the block isn't always enough.
