For dogs with energy to burn, a walk around the block isn't always enough

For dogs with energy to burn, trips to local trails and swimming spots, because a walk around the block isn't always enough.

When the usual loop doesn't tire a dog out

Some dogs come home from the block with energy to burn, and a dog like that needs more than the usual loop around the neighborhood. Rick and Cate plan around your dog's specific energy level, not around the clock.

A nature walk takes a dog outside its normal everyday routine, and that helps with mental stimulation too. A dog's nose is constantly on the move, taking in all those new scents, and that tires them out as much as the miles do.

How a trail or swim outing works

We offer off-site adventures like hiking and swimming: trips to local trails and swimming spots, a chance for your dog to explore somewhere new. Ask Rick which outing suits your dog.

As on every walk, the dog sets the pace. Rick has walked dogs at the Warwick Animal Shelter since the 90s, which gave him plenty of experience with all kinds of temperaments and needs. A fast, eager dog and a careful, sniffing one get different days.

Take Me Out Pets is fully bonded and insured, and our team is trained in pet CPR and first aid, so we're ready for any situation, on a trail or at the water's edge.

What a tired dog is like at home

These trips give a dog the chance to explore new trails and come home truly tired out. A tired dog is a happy dog, and a calm one while you're away.

Extra pets are $5 each, and there's a $3 travel fee for locations 7 miles or more from Warwick. Ask what an outing costs for your dog when you call.

Rick handles the dogs while Cate, our resident cat expert, handles the cats. Call Rick on (401) 527-0035 and we'll start with a meet and greet at your home.
