Stop 3 · the night

Knowing a professional is there to keep them company

A 12-hour stay that covers evening and morning feedings, walks, and company through the night.

The long night alone

A drop-in visit covers a feeding and a walk. It can't cover the hours around it. When you're away overnight, the gap from the evening into the morning is a long one for a pet who's used to company.

That's the gap overnight care fills for families in Warwick and Conimicut. Rick and Cate Salk's idea is simple: someone is there with your pet, so the house isn't quiet and the routine doesn't slip.

How does the 12-hour stay run?

It's one 12-hour service that covers the evening feeding, a walk, company through the night, then the morning feeding and another walk. Your pet's day ends and starts the way it normally does, in the place they know best.

We follow your instructions for feeding and exercise to the letter, and Rick gives medication to your vet's detailed instructions. Dogs, cats and small animals are all welcome, and Cate leads when the pet is a cat.

A 12-hour overnight stay is $65. Call Rick on (401) 527-0035 and he'll start with a meet and greet at your home, so everyone has met before the night comes.

Peace of mind, priced plainly

It's $65 for the stay. A second pet is an extra $5 each, and there's a $3 travel fee for homes 7 miles or more from Warwick.

Nancy D. wrote that Rick "gives us a peace of mind when we have to be away." Nina E. wrote that Rick and Cate sent pictures and texts daily, and that her family has continued to use them.

Photos and updates come with every visit, and the litter box and yard stay clean. Hours are Monday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel, and cancellations with less notice may be subject to a fee.
